Officer, Photography & Cinematography

JOB CONTEXT

    The Officer, Photography & Cinematography will be responsible for producing high-quality visual content for ULAB’s events, academic activities, campus life, outreach initiatives, campaigns, and institutional communications. The role will primarily focus on photography while also supporting and coordinating cinematography and video production.

REPORTING

The Officer, Photography & Cinematography reports to the Head of Communications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cover ULAB events, workshops, seminars, campaigns, student activities, and official programs through photography.
• Produce high-quality photographs for social media, websites, publications, press releases, and promotional materials.
• Coordinate and support video production, interviews, reels, promotional videos, and event coverage.
• Handle basic photo editing, retouching, color correction, and video post-production.
• Plan required shots and visual coverage in coordination with the Communications Office.
• Maintain an organized archive of photographs and video footage.
• Properly manage and maintain cameras, lenses, lighting, and other production equipment.
• Coordinate with external photographers, videographers, and production teams when required.
• Ensure timely delivery of visual content, especially for digital and social media use.
• Maintain ULAB’s visual identity and communication standards.
