Master of Development Studies (MDS) or equivalent postgraduate degree from a recognized institution.

8 to 10 years of proven experience in business development, resource mobilization, and strategic partnership management within the social enterprise, TVET, or international development sectors.

Major Account Development, Asia Business Development, Key Account Management, Academic Program Development, Partnership & Ministry Development, and Donor Relations.
Demonstrated track record as lead grant writer for winning competitive donor proposals and complex funding bids.
Strategic Acumen: Deep understanding of the global care economy, digital health innovation, skilled migration pathways, and impact investment structures.

The Manager, Business Development & Partnerships is a strategic executive responsible for architecting and executing AYAT's resource mobilization strategy, diversifying revenue streams, and building high-level strategic alliances. Going beyond traditional grant acquisition, the Manager will explore social business models, fee-for-service opportunities, impact investing, and technology-driven partnerships (AI/Digital Health), while representing AYAT to bilateral/multilateral donors, government ministries, and global partners.

Conduct ongoing market intelligence and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends across the international care economy, technical education, and workforce development.
Inter-Venture Commercial Growth: Collaborate with leadership across ACNHS, ACTI, AYAT Care, ASDC, and AYAT CDC to align commercial strategies with social impact goals.

Strategic Resource Mobilization: Design and execute a 3-Year Resource Mobilization Strategy to secure long-term financial sustainability and scalable growth across all AYAT ventures.
Revenue Diversification & Fee-for-Service Models: Pilot and scale commercial social enterprise models, fee-for-service structures, and impact investment opportunities to reduce donor dependency.
Grant Writing & Proposal Leadership: Lead the writing and submission of winning grant proposals, technical narratives, concept notes, and tender submissions for global and local donor agencies.
Strategic Partnerships & Global Alliances: Establish high-level partnerships with bilateral/multilateral donors, government ministries, corporate leaders, and international technology partners (AI/Digital Health).
