Junior Fashion Designer / Fashion Designer

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Junior Fashion Designer / Fashion Designer to join our Design and Product Development team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of new apparel styles, preparing design concepts and technical details, researching fashion trends, and assisting in the product development process from concept to sample.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers in developing new apparel collections and styles based on customer requirements and market trends.
• Conduct research on fashion trends, colors, fabrics, silhouettes, prints, trims, and garment details.
• Develop design concepts, sketches, mood boards, color boards, and presentation materials.
• Prepare and update technical sketches, design sheets, and product specifications.
• Assist with fabric, trim, print, embroidery, wash, and accessory selection.
• Coordinate with merchandising, pattern, sample, production, and quality teams during product development.
• Follow up on samples and provide design-related comments and revisions.
• Review samples to ensure design details, measurements, colors, fabrics, and trims meet approved requirements.
• Maintain proper records of designs, samples, artwork, and product development documents.
• Support the preparation of presentations and collections for buyers/customers.
• Ensure designs are commercially viable, production-friendly, and aligned with target market requirements.
• Perform other design and product-development-related duties assigned by management.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
• Women are strongly encouraged to apply.

Experience

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in apparel/fashion design.
• Experience in a garments manufacturing or buying-house environment will be preferred.
• Internship or academic experience in apparel design/product development will be considered an advantage.
