Head of Sales

Develop and execute the national sales strategy, annual sales plan and territory-wise targets in line with the company`s business objectives.

Lead the entire pharmaceutical field sales organization, including National/ Regional/ Zonal/ Area Managers and field-force teams.

Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual sales, growth and collection targets.

Drive prescription generation, product penetration, market share and geographic expansion across Bangladesh.

Regularly review territory, product, team and individual performance and initiate corrective actions where required.

Strengthen field-force productivity through effective target setting, KPI monitoring, coaching, training and performance management.

Develop effective strategies for underperforming territories and identify new growth opportunities.

Work closely with the Marketing/Product Management team on product strategy, new product launches, promotional activities and market development.

Maintain strong professional relationships with key doctors, institutions, distributors and other relevant stakeholders.

Monitor competitors, market trends, product performance and changing customer requirements and provide actionable market intelligence to management.

Ensure efficient distribution, product availability and inventory movement through close coordination with the Distribution team.

Ensure strong sales collection and receivables management in coordination with Finance.

Develop, motivate and retain a high-performing sales organization and establish a strong succession pipeline for key sales positions.

Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, performance reports and management presentations.

Ensure sales activities comply with company policies, ethical promotional practices and applicable pharmaceutical industry requirements.

Report regularly to senior management on sales performance, market developments, challenges and strategic opportunities.
