Financial Controller
Location: South Africa – Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, with some flexibility
We’re looking for an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of the financial function and help ensure the business has accurate, reliable, and actionable financial information.
This role is ideal for someone who is commercially minded, hands-on, and comfortable working independently. You’ll be responsible for financial transactions, reconciliations, reporting, expenditure oversight, and identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and control costs.
A formal CA qualification is not essential. We’re open to candidates with different levels of formal financial training, provided they have strong practical experience and a solid understanding of financial controls, accounting, and reporting.
The ideal person will be someone who doesn’t just process numbers, but is naturally curious about what the numbers are telling them and is confident asking questions when something doesn’t look right.
