Karmojibi Nari (KN) is going to implement the project “Advancing Rights, Economic Justice, and GBV Prevention for Women in Domestic and Beauty Service Work”, supported by Women’s Fund Asia, in urban Dhaka.
The project aims to strengthen the collective voice, rights, economic justice, dignity, and working conditions of women Domestic Workers (DW) and Beauty Service Workers (BSW). It will also contribute to the prevention of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and challenge discriminatory social norms affecting women workers.
To support the implementation of this initiative from August 2026 to January 2028, KN invites applications from qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Field Facilitator (FF).
Job Responsibilities
The Field Facilitator will work directly with women Domestic Workers, Beauty Service Workers, community members, and other stakeholders at the project intervention areas. S/he will support community mobilization, awareness, organizing, field-level implementation, documentation, and monitoring of project activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mobilize and organize women Domestic Workers and Beauty Service Workers in project intervention areas.
• Establish and maintain regular communication and positive relationships with women workers, community members, leaders, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Facilitate awareness sessions, group meetings, discussions, community dialogues, and other field-level project activities.
• Support women workers to understand and claim their rights related to labour, dignity, safety, social protection, economic justice, and workplace conditions.
• Support leadership development, collective action, organizing, and peer-to-peer learning among women workers.
• Facilitate couple dialogues, community campaigns, and activities addressing gender equality, GBV prevention, and discriminatory social norms.
• Identify issues, challenges, and concerns faced by women workers and communicate them to the Project Coordinator and Training Officer.
• Support referral linkages with relevant government, NGO, health, legal, psychosocial, and other service providers when required and in accordance with safeguarding and referral protocols.
• Conduct regular household, workplace, community, and group-level field visits as required.
• Maintain participant lists, attendance sheets, field notes, activity records, photographs, and other necessary documentation.
• Collect project-related information and data from the field and support monitoring and reporting activities.
• Prepare regular field reports, case studies, success stories, and lessons learned.
• Support the organization and logistics of training, workshops, campaigns, meetings, and other project events.
• Distribute IEC and awareness materials and support community-level communication initiatives.
• Ensure confidentiality, safeguarding, respectful communication, and do-no-harm principles in all field activities.
• Maintain coordination with Field Facilitators, Training Officer, Project Coordinator, and other project team members.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
