Executive / Sr. Executive-SCM (Procurement)

To ensure uninterrupted plant and logistics operations by efficiently managing procurement of automobile spare parts and related mechanical, electrical, and power plant components in a cost effective, timely, and compliant manner while maintaining optimal inventory levels and strong vendor reliability:

• Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders in compliance with procurement procedures.
• Ensure timely sourcing of automobile spare parts for fleet vehicles and plant equipment to avoid operational disruption.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and conduct quotation analysis and commercial negotiations.
• Coordinate with transport, mechanical, and maintenance teams to understand requirements and urgency.
• Ensure availability of critical and fast-moving spare parts to minimize fleet downtime and dispatch delays.
• Monitor and control inventory levels including reorder points, slow moving, and non-moving items.
• Track purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and quality compliance.
• Process vendor bills independently with close coordination with concerned user departments and Accounts & Finance for accuracy and timely payment.
• Maintain procurement documentation and ERP records ensuring audit readiness and compliance with VAT/tax regulations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager from time to time.
