Fabric Sourcing & Procurement

• Collect fabric requirements from Merchandising and Product Development teams.
• Request, compare, and evaluate supplier quotations and lead negotiations within defined limits.
• Ensure timely issuance of Purchase Orders (PO) and maintain accurate documentation.
• Follow up with suppliers for sample yardages, bulk yardages, lab dips, and approvals.

Supplier Coordination & Relationship Management

• Maintain strong professional communication with fabric mills and suppliers.
• Track and monitor supplier performance regarding quality, lead time, and service compliance.
• Assist in onboarding new fabric suppliers when needed.

Fabric Tracking & Follow-Up

• Monitor end-to-end fabric flow: booking → approval → production → inspection → delivery → warehouse.
• Update fabric status reports and highlight risks or delays proactively.
• Coordinate with QC, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure smooth inbound process.

Data Management & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records in ERP/Excel including PO details, delivery status, cost breakdowns, and approvals.
• Prepare weekly/monthly fabric supply reports for internal review.
• Support system updates (ERP/PLM/SCM) related to fabric purchase and stock.

Cross-Functional Communication

• Work closely with Merchandising, Planning, Commercial, QC, and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless workflow.
• Escalate issues regarding fabric delays, quality concerns, or price inconsistencies.

Compliance & Cost Control

• Ensure all sourcing and procurement activities adhere to company SOPs and compliance standards.
• Assist in cost analysis and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
