La Tarte is looking for a passionate Commis-1 – Pastry to support its pastry production team and maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation.
Prepare cakes, pastries, desserts, and other pastry items following standard recipes and SOPs.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portion, finishing, and presentation.
Perform cake decoration, frosting, glazing, and plating.
Guide and support Commis-2 and Commis-3 team members.
Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
Monitor ingredient usage, stock, FIFO, and wastage.
Assist in daily production planning based on outlet demand.
Properly operate bakery and pastry equipment such as ovens, mixers, and chillers.
Assist the Demi Chef/CDP in ensuring smooth and efficient production.
