Chef - Kitchen & Menu R&D

REQUIREMENTS

• 4 to 6 years of relevant professional kitchen experience, preferably in cafés, QSRs, fast-food restaurants or casual dining establishments.
• Strong practical knowledge of café-style and fast-food menus.
• Experience with burgers, sandwiches, wraps, fried chicken, pasta, rice meals, grilled items and quick set meals will be highly valued.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a kitchen team.
• Strong understanding of recipe development, food costing and portion control.
• Ability to create new dishes while maintaining consistency and commercial practicality.
• Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, high-volume kitchen.
• Experience with restaurant chains, cloud kitchens or multi-outlet operations will be an advantage.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience in Middle Eastern cuisine, particularly Shawarma, grilled meats, marinades, sauces and related dishes, will be given priority.
• Experience across multiple cuisines and the ability to combine different food concepts into an appealing modern café menu will also be an advantage.
