Strong understanding of the OTA and online travel business model.
Knowledge of air ticketing, hotel booking and other travel-related services.
Understanding of B2B, B2C and corporate travel business.
Knowledge of GDS, airline distribution or travel booking systems will be an advantage.
Ability to develop practical business policies and growth strategies.
Strong business development and commercial negotiation skills.
Ability to identify business gaps and recommend improvements.
Strong communication and relationship management skills.
Good written and spoken English and Bangla.
Strong presentation and negotiation ability.
Target-oriented, proactive and self-motivated.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of business initiatives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities & Context

Develop and implement business development strategies for Nec Travels and its OTA platform.
Support the overall operation, growth and commercial development of the online travel platform.
Identify opportunities to improve sales, customer acquisition and revenue.
Analyze the existing business model and recommend new policies, services and business strategies.
Develop relationships with airlines, GDS providers, hotels, travel suppliers, consolidators, corporate clients and other travel industry partners.
Negotiate commercial terms, rates, commissions and partnership arrangements with suppliers and business partners.
Identify and onboard new travel partners and corporate clients.
Willingness to attend meetings and visit business partners when required.
Work to improve the competitiveness of air ticketing, hotel booking and other travel-related services.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing and customer demand.
Suggest improvements to the OTA platform based on market requirements and customer experience.
Coordinate with technical, operations, marketing and management teams for implementation of new business initiatives.
Develop promotional campaigns, corporate packages and other revenue-generating initiatives.
Support B2B, B2C and corporate travel business development.
Monitor business performance and prepare regular reports, forecasts and management updates.
Develop strategies for customer retention and repeat business.
Identify new travel products, destinations, services and potential revenue channels.
Achieve assigned business development and sales targets.
Perform any other related responsibilities assigned by Management.
