Breaking the Silence is a non-profit, voluntary organization registered with the Department of Social Services (Registration No. 05037, Date: 17 October 2000) and NGOAB (Registration No. 1642, Date: 20 May 2001). The organization works to establish child rights, prevent child abuse and child sexual abuse, prevent child marriage, accelerate child-friendly good governance, improve the quality of education at the primary and pre-primary level, prevent violence against women, empowering children and women. The organization is implementing a project named ‘Protection-Centred and Locally Driven Response for Rohingya Refugees in Cox’s Bazar [PCLDRR] in Ukhiya and Teknaf Rohigya Camp under Cox’s Bazar district. The project is implemented by the support of ‘International Rescue Committee (IRC)’ and financed by ‘DFAT’. BTS is going to recruit the ‘Assistant Officer - MIS’ for the mentioned project and the position’s desk office will be at Ukhiya Upazila in Cox’s Bazar.

Job Description/Responsibilities:
The Assistant Officer – MIS is responsible for supporting the effective management of child protection case management information systems as part of the Rohingya refugee response. The position will ensure accurate, timely, and confidential data entry and management of cases in the CPIMS+ database, support data quality and verification, and contribute to the generation of regular and ad hoc reports. The position will work closely with caseworkers, CP Assistants and Officers, the Project Coordinator, Technical Officer – Case Management, MEAL team, and relevant stakeholders to strengthen information management, data quality, reporting, trend analysis, and evidence-based programming for children vulnerable to abuse, exploitation, neglect, violence, and other protection risks, including unaccompanied and separated children (UASC), CAFAAG, and other vulnerable and at-risk children.
Position Objectives:
Ensure timely data input in CPIMS+ of identification, risk analysis, assessment, planning and case management of children harmed or at risk of harm, including unaccompanied & separated children and CAFAAG.
To ensuring quality case management data input, quality data analysis and adherence to global child protection minimum standards - CPMS & Inter Agency Case Management Guideline.
Proficiency in using child protection case management information systems (e.g., CPIMS+, Comcare, Primero, Kobo & advance level Excel), including maintaining data confidentiality and DPISP protocols.
Collaborate and Coordination with Project Team and skilled in monitoring case management activities, analyzing trends, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Position Reports to: Project Coordinator, and Technical Support: TO – Case Management and Officer – Case Work.
Other Duties:
Regularly assess capacity of the case workers on CPIMS+ and data management skills and provide on job training.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor to support BTS’s programs, Projects and objectives.
Others: Be able and willing to respond to Child Protection or emergency situations, when needed and any other task assigned by Supervisor and /or Senior Management of BTS.
Tenure of Services Contract:
3 (Three) months probation period. After successful completion of the probation period, based on the performance of the staff and recommendation from the supervisor, the post may be continued till the project’s lifetime.
