Proven experience in EHS Management within a mega manufacturing environment, preferably in the glass industry.
Knowledge of local EHS regulations and the ability to interpret and implement them effectively.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver training sessions and reports.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, ensuring thorough risk assessments and incident investigations.
Leadership skills to motivate and guide teams towards a culture of safety and compliance.
Assist in the development, implementation, and continual improvement of EHS policies, procedures, programs, and management systems in line with organizational objectives and applicable standards.
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance with applicable EHS laws, regulations, permits, licenses, and organizational requirements, and coordinate necessary compliance actions.
Conduct and oversee risk assessments, workplace inspections, EHS compliance audits, and safety assessments to identify hazards, evaluate risks, and recommend appropriate control measures.
Ensure proper maintenance of EHS documentation and records, including registers, licenses, certificates, inspection reports, training records, and other statutory and management requirements.
Prepare and submit periodic EHS reports, KPI reports, dashboards, performance summaries, and management updates, highlighting key risks, trends, and improvement areas.
Provide EHS advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and concerned departments to strengthen workplace safety and environmental performance.
Lead and participate in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and develop and monitor corrective and preventive action plans to prevent recurrence.
Coordinate and monitor PPE and safety equipment management, including requirement assessment, procurement, distribution, proper use, inspection, maintenance, and replacement, while promoting a strong EHS culture among employees and contractors.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, HR, SCM, and other relevant departments on EHS matters; support EHS training, awareness and certification programs, internal/external/customer audits, regulatory inspections, certification activities, and other EHS initiatives as assigned by management.
