Bachelor’s / Honors Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.

Total Industry Experience:

15 to 18 years of comprehensive operational leadership experience in Woven Garments, Textile, Buying House, or large-scale Group of Companies.

Leadership Rank Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience as an AGM or in a senior production leadership role within a large-scale woven garment manufacturing facility.

40 to 45 years.

Renaissance Group is seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Assistant General Manager (AGM), Production for its Woven Garments manufacturing unit in Ashulia, Dhaka. The incumbent will be responsible for leading large-scale woven production operations across Cutting, Sewing, and Finishing divisions. This senior role requires driving operational excellence, maximizing efficiency (OTIF – On Time In Full), ensuring AQL quality standards, and partnering with top management, GM Production, and COO to meet international buyer commitments and drive sustainable growth.

KPI Analysis & Management Reporting:

Conduct regular operational review meetings, analyze key performance metrics (KPIs), and present strategic insights and recommendations to top management.

Workplace Compliance & Mentorship:

Enforce workplace safety standards, social compliance policies, and buyer audit protocols while coaching and mentoring Production Managers and supervisory personnel to strengthen leadership capability and succession readiness.

Departmental Leadership & Workflow Execution:

Lead and oversee end-to-end daily production operations across Cutting, Sewing, and Finishing departments to ensure seamless workflow execution and consistent achievement of production targets (OTIF – On Time In Full).

Production Planning & Capacity Allocation:

Develop and execute comprehensive production plans, line loading strategies, and capacity allocation frameworks to ensure optimum resource utilization and on-time shipment.

Efficiency & Line Productivity Optimization:

Monitor sewing efficiency, line productivity, and capacity utilization across all operational lines, implementing immediate corrective actions to achieve target output.

T&A Calendar & Shipment Compliance:

Ensure strict adherence to production schedules, T&A (Time & Action) calendars, buyer commitments, and delivery deadlines.

Continuous Improvement & Loss Reduction:

Drive lean initiatives and continuous improvement programs to enhance plant productivity, reduce lead times, minimize wastage, and improve overall factory performance.

Quality Management & AQL Standards:

Ensure full compliance with buyer quality benchmarks and internal quality control protocols. Monitor and minimize DHU, rework, rejection, and alteration rates through proactive root-cause analysis.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Planning, Industrial Engineering (IE), Quality, Maintenance, Store, and Commercial departments to resolve operational roadblocks and ensure uninterrupted production flow.

Industrial Engineering Coordination:

Implement and coordinate IE initiatives including line balancing, workflow optimization, manpower allocation, and productivity enhancement programs to achieve an optimum man-machine ratio.

Cost Control & Resource Management:

Monitor operational budgets, material wastage, accessories consumption, and manufacturing losses to improve cost efficiency and increase operational profitability.
