Job Context

We are a UK technology company building an AI-powered platform for the risk, regulation and assurance space, targeting regulated financial institutions. The company builds research, frameworks, synthetic benchmark environments and software tools that help organisations evaluate complex work produced by humans and AI, including an AI-assisted review and assurance platform currently under development.

We are seeking a Graduate Analyst / Product Developer to support research, product testing and company operations. This is not a conventional graduate role: the successful candidate will work closely with the Founder, engage directly with the product and its underlying reasoning, and gain hands-on exposure to how an early-stage AI product, research programme and company are built from the ground up. The role suits a candidate who is comfortable proposing and testing their own ideas, not only following a fixed brief.

Job Responsibilities

Research

• Conduct structured desk research on AI, banking, regulation, technology and related topics
• Source and organise relevant regulatory documents, industry publications and reference material
• Synthesise findings from multiple sources into clear, accurate summaries and identify what matters most for the task at hand
• Build comparison tables, matrices and research databases
• Fact-check the company's research and publications
• Maintain the company's library of frameworks, benchmarks and reference materials
• Support development of synthetic companies, policies, procedures, workpapers and evidence used for product testing

Product Testing & Analysis

• Test new versions of the company's products
• Work through test scenarios as a real user would
• Compare AI-generated outputs against expected answers or source material, and form an independent judgement on whether an output is substantively correct, not only whether the software functions
• Identify incorrect answers, missing evidence, confusing wording and usability problems, and propose practical fixes or alternative approaches where relevant
• Re-run tests consistently after product changes
• Record results in structured test logs
• Help build and maintain benchmark datasets and answer keys
• Test different AI models and prompts where required
• Operations and Administration
• Maintain organised company files, trackers and documentation
• Manage calendars, meetings, follow-ups and action lists
• Support invoicing, expenses and basic bookkeeping preparation
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors and occasional travel or events
• Maintain contact lists and simple CRM information
• Prepare documents, presentations and meeting materials
• Support recruitment administration and onboarding as the team grows
