CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
For the selection of:
a Research Associate (scientific position) in the field of "Epidemiology and pathophysiology of diseases related to the general and occupational environment," permanent contract (1 position)
Mandatory requirements: completed university graduate study or integrated undergraduate and graduate university study in the scientific field of Biomedicine and Health, and a doctoral degree (PhD) in the scientific field of Biomedicine and Health or Natural Sciences; published scientific papers in the relevant field in journals indexed and cited in the Web of Science Core Collection and Scopus databases; active command of spoken and written English; computer literacy.
Advantages: experience in conducting epidemiological research, Category B driving license.

- proof of professional qualifications and/or academic degree (candidates who obtained their qualification abroad must attach a decision on the recognition of a foreign educational qualification issued by the Agency for Science and Higher Education or a confirmation of the submitted application for such a document);
- proof of published scientific and professional papers;
- a brief summary of scientific activities;
- a list and offprints of scientific papers and other published works and presentations;
- evidence required under Article 7 of the Ordinance on Conditions for Re-election and Additional Conditions for Election to Scientific Positions dated November 30, 2016;
- evidence of meeting the criteria set out in the National Criteria;
- proof of election to the appropriate scientific rank (only if the candidate has been elected to a scientific rank);
- evidence regarding additional criteria, if applicable.
Applicants must meet the general requirements for employment, the requirements stipulated in this Call for Applications, the requirements prescribed by the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette 119/22), and—for Item 1—the requirements of the *Rulebook on Conditions for Re-appointment and Additional Conditions for Appointment to Scientific Positions* dated 30 November 2016, as well as the requirements prescribed by the *National, University, Scientific, and Artistic Criteria* (Official Gazette 42/26).
