- The Stanford Leinweber Institute for Theoretical Physics (LITP) is
- searching for postdoctoral fellows, including for Leinweber Physics
- Postdoctoral Fellows as well as other LITP fellowships. The full range
- of theoretical physics will be considered with particular areas of
- focus this year including quantum field theory and string theory,
- cosmology and quantum gravity, particle physics and phenomenology and
- quantum information science.
- LITP enjoys fruitful interactions with the Q-FARM initiative in
- quantum science and engineering at Stanford, the Kavli Institute of
- Particle Physics and Cosmology, as well as with the Stanford
- Mathematics Department and machine learning research centers on campus
- and in industry. These associations and collaborations contribute to
- the lively atmosphere for postdocs in LITP.
- The deadline for applications is November 15, 2026.
- LITP postdoctoral applicants may also consider applying to the
- Stanford Science Fellows interdisciplinary postdoctoral scholar
- program, as well as the Q-FARM Bloch Fellowship program.
- The Simons Collaboration on the Physics of Learning and Neural
- Computation are also searching for postdoctoral fellows at Stanford to
- perform research on AI.
