[Conference History] • 2009, The 1st AFMD was held in Juzhaigou, China. • 2011, The 2nd AFMD was held in Jeju, South Korea • 2012, The 3rd AFMD was held in Changchun, China • 2016: The 5th AFMD was held in Suzhou, China. • 2017: The 6th AFMD took place in Moscow, Russia, followed later that year by the 7th AFMD in Havana, Cuba. • 2018: The 8th AFMD was hosted in Leuven, Belgium. • 2022: The 9th AFMD was held online. • 2027: The 10th AFMD will be hosted in Athens, Greece.
