About this course

The **Non-Government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA)** conducts the registration examination that qualifies candidates to teach in non-government schools, colleges and madrasahs — the large majority of secondary and higher secondary institutions in Bangladesh. Registration is not itself appointment. It certifies eligibility; appointment follows through a **central recommendation process** against vacancies notified by institutions. Understanding this two-stage structure is the first thing a candidate needs, because many candidates pass the examination and then fail to navigate the application stage. The examination itself is predictable: a **preliminary MCQ**, a **written examination**, and a **viva**, with a syllabus that overlaps almost entirely with bank and other public recruitment tests.
