About this course

Biology supplies a large share of the General Science marks, and questions about the human body, diseases, vitamins and public health appear in almost every government exam in Bangladesh. The viva board also expects candidates to speak sensibly about dengue, nutrition, immunisation and health services. This course covers biology in twenty lessons: classification and the cell, genetics and evolution, plant biology, then the human body system by system — digestion, circulation, respiration, excretion, nervous, endocrine, skeletal and reproductive. It then turns to microorganisms and immunity, communicable and non-communicable diseases, nutrition and deficiency disorders, Bangladesh's public health system, biotechnology and modern medicine, and finally exam strategy. Every lesson is written so the same material answers a one-mark MCQ and a ten-mark written question.
