Utility & Maintenance Specialist

A reputed Japanese textile-chemical company operating in Bangladesh is seeking competent professionals to support its chemical business operations at BSEZ, Araihazar, Narayanganj. The company is engaged in the import, export, storage, distribution, and supply of textile chemicals and related chemical products.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of electrical utilities and facilities, including substations and related equipment. The role will focus on routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely coordination of repairs to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of electrical utilities, equipment, and related facilities.
• Monitor electrical substations, distribution systems, generators, and other utility equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate necessary repair and maintenance work.
• Maintain maintenance records and report equipment issues, breakdowns, and required corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and support safe working practices.
