Technical SaaS Project Manager

The Cultural Stuff

• A Practibuddy mentor from your first week.
• Bi-annual in-person summits in Chicago to connect with the team you talk to on Slack every day.
• Genuinely remote-first, not remote-in-name-only.

The Must-Haves

• 3–5 years of project management experience, ideally in fintech, insurance, banking, or another regulated industry where compliance and process discipline matter.
• Hands-on experience running projects in JIRA and Asana, including task creation, sprint assignment, and status tracking.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. You'll be the primary voice clients hear between kickoff and go-live.
• Comfort holding clients and internal teams accountable to a plan, diplomatically but firmly.

The Nice-to-Haves

• PMP or Certified Scrum Master (or actively working toward one).
• Prior experience implementing SaaS or CRM software (Salesforce experience is a strong plus, not a requirement).
• Experience working with data engineers or technical teams on system implementations.

The More Important Stuff

We'd rather hire someone with strong instincts and less direct fintech exposure than someone with the perfect resume and no curiosity. If you ask good questions, you're honest when something's off track, and you genuinely like the puzzle of keeping a complex project moving, that matters more than a checklist match.
