Technical Officer (Sewing)

Monitor and control sewing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and efficiency goals are achieved.

Analyze garment construction methods and provide technical solutions to sewing-related problems.

Conduct operation breakdowns and establish standard minute values (SMV) for different garment styles.

Work closely with the production, quality, and industrial engineering teams to improve sewing line performance.

Train sewing operators, line supervisors, and team leaders on sewing techniques, quality requirements, and productivity improvement.

Identify defects during production and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize rework and rejection rates.

Ensure proper machine settings, attachments, folders, and sewing methods are applied according to garment specifications.

Support new style development, pilot runs, and production line setups to achieve smooth bulk production.

Prepare technical reports on production efficiency, sewing quality, and process improvement activities.

Maintain compliance with company standards, buyer requirements, and workplace safety regulations.
