Technical Officer – Inclusive Education

Mission 1: Technical Guidance & Quality Assurance

• Provide appropriate technical guidance and sectoral support to project managers, field staff, and specialists.
• Ensure project activities are executed following HI internal quality and technical standards, proposing corrective adjustments when needed.
• Adapt project documentation in compliance with global technical norms, guidelines, and standards.
• Contribute to regular technical reporting, data collection, and qualitative analysis in collaboration with project and MEAL teams.
• Coordinate and collaborate with designated project technical partners as delegated by the leadership.
• Propose research and study topics within the inclusive education perimeter and supervise field data collection.

Mission 3: Sectoral Animation, Capacity Building & MEAL Integration

• Contribute to technical recruitment, candidate interviewing, and local talent pool development.
• Lead and facilitate technical training sessions, coaching, and skill upgrading plans for sector professionals and field staff.
• Help coordinate technical professional development and facilitate a community of practice in collaboration with the Technical Division.
• Design and collect operational data for tracking activity achievement in compliance with IM/MEAL rules and sectoral guidelines.

Mission 4: Representation, External Influence & Proposal Development

• Represent HI's technical expertise in local sectoral networks, working groups, and partner forums as delegated.
• Relay advocacy messages and contribute to technical advocacy initiatives under the inclusive education mandate.
• Draft technical content for project continuation, expansion, and new donor proposal opportunities.

Mission 5: Emergency Preparedness & Humanitarian Response

• Contribute to emergency preparedness planning and adapt work modalities to support HI’s rapid humanitarian response during crises.
