Support Engineer - IoT & Telematics

We are looking for a Support Engineer who is enthusiastic about technology, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about helping customers. The selected candidate will work closely with customers and internal technical teams to ensure smooth operation of VTS devices, applications, and fleet management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers through phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Assist customers with issues related to the AutoGuard fleet management application and system.
• Install, configure, and set up VTS/GPS tracking devices in vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot device connectivity, GPS tracking, data transmission, and application-related issues.
• Monitor and identify technical issues affecting vehicle tracking and fleet management services.
• Coordinate with technical, software, and product teams to resolve complex customer issues.
• Guide customers on the proper use of AutoGuard applications and tracking solutions.
• Conduct basic testing and troubleshooting of IoT and telematics devices.
• Maintain proper records of customer complaints, technical issues, solutions, and device installations.
• Follow up with customers to ensure reported issues are resolved satisfactorily.
• Support field activities when required, including device installation, inspection, and troubleshooting.
• Escalate unresolved technical issues to the appropriate internal team.
• Continuously learn about GPS Tracking, IoT, VTS, Telematics, and Smart Fleet Management technologies.
