A Senior Officer for HR & Compliance manages daily human resources operations, handles employee relations, and ensures workplace adherence to labor laws and buyer codes of conduct
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Operations: Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, orientation, leave management, and performance appraisals
Compliance & Audits: Ensure full compliance with local labor laws (such as the Bangladesh Labour Act) and international standards or buyer codes of conduct (BSCI, Sedex, Higg FEM)
Employee & Industrial Relations: Handle worker grievances, manage disciplinary procedures, and maintain positive labor-management relations on the factory floor
Training & Safety: Coordinate workplace training sessions regarding fire safety, health standards, and occupational safety
Documentation & Payroll Support: Maintain employee personal files, update HR databases, and provide accurate attendance and leave data for payroll processing
