Sr. Manager/AGM- Dyeing Finishing

This role involves achieving minimizing defects and waste, and ensuring cost-effective finishing operations.

Prevent and minimize second-quality and scrap fabric due to finishing processes.

Ensure fabric quality meets buyer standards.

Implement and manage Fault Description Forms (FDF) to record and analyze quality defects.

Select optimal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), machine parameters, and machine types for quality and trouble-free production.

Check fabric test results (e.g., shrinkage, rubbing, pilling, fastness, wicking, elasticity) as per customer standards.

Control finishing parameters during bulk production to meet quality requirements.

Ensure minimal impact of finishing processes on dyed fabric color, fastness, handle, hydrophilicity, elasticity, and other technical specifications.

Select appropriate softeners and finishing processes based on buyer requirements, fabric quality, cost, and supplier logistics.

Manage softener and finishing chemical inventory for optimal usage.

Ensure cost-effective finishing by implementing new chemicals, production methods, and machinery.

Lead and enforce health and safety regulations in the finishing department.
