Ronex Mart is looking for a Sr. Executive – Procurement to manage the sourcing and purchasing of products for its super shop operations. The position will be responsible for ensuring the right products are purchased at the right price, quantity, quality, and time, while maintaining healthy margins and strong supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily procurement and replenishment requirements for the super shop.
Source FMCG, grocery, food, beverage, personal care, household, and other retail products from manufacturers, distributors, importers, and wholesalers.
Identify and develop reliable suppliers for new and existing product categories.
Negotiate purchase price, margin, credit terms, delivery schedule, promotional support, rebates, and trade discounts.
Collect supplier quotations and prepare price comparisons for management approval.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) based on approved requirements and stock/replenishment plans.
Monitor supplier deliveries and ensure products reach the warehouse/store within the agreed timeline.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Store Operations, Warehouse, Inventory, Finance, and Accounts teams.
Monitor stock availability and support timely replenishment to minimize stock-outs.
Analyze sales trends, stock movement, purchase history, and market prices to support purchasing decisions.
Monitor product expiry dates, shelf life, batch information, damages, and return issues, particularly for food and FMCG products.
Ensure procurement is aligned with required product quality and company standards.
Negotiate promotional deals, special offers, bulk discounts, and supplier-funded campaigns.
Monitor supplier performance regarding price, quality, delivery, service, and claim settlement.
Maintain updated supplier, product, price, PO, and procurement records.
Conduct regular market visits and competitor price checks to ensure competitive retail pricing.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and margin improvement.
Support new product listing and supplier onboarding.
Resolve issues related to shortages, damaged goods, incorrect deliveries, price discrepancies, and supplier claims.
Prepare regular procurement and supplier-performance reports for management.
Ensure all procurement activities follow Ronex Mart`s policies, approval procedures, and ethical standards.
