Position: Sr. Executive – Civil (Structural Designer)
Florentia Real Estates Ltd. is looking for a qualified, experienced, and motivated Sr. Executive – Civil (Structural Designer) to join our growing team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, supervising, and coordinating structural and civil construction activities, ensuring that all designs and construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes and standards, quality requirements, safety guidelines, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop structural designs, calculations, drawings, and detailing for residential and commercial building projects.
- Design structural components including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, staircases, retaining structures, and other RCC elements.
- Perform structural analysis and design based on project requirements, site conditions, architectural layouts, and applicable design codes.
- Prepare structural drawings and reinforcement detailing suitable for construction.
- Review architectural drawings and coordinate structural designs with architectural and MEP requirements.
- Analyze and identify structural design requirements and provide technically sound and cost-effective solutions.
- Review structural drawings, design calculations, and technical documents prepared by consultants or other design team members.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, site engineers, and other project team members to resolve design and construction-related issues.
- Visit project sites when required to verify site conditions and ensure proper implementation of structural designs.
- Supervise and monitor structural construction works, including foundation, reinforcement, formwork, concrete casting, columns, beams, slabs, masonry, and other RCC works.
- Ensure construction activities are executed according to approved structural drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and clarification to site engineers and construction teams regarding structural drawings and design details.
- Review structural changes, modifications, and site conditions and provide appropriate design solutions when required.
- Check structural quantities, BOQ, material requirements, and contractor measurements where necessary.
- Conduct site inspections and identify deviations, defects, or technical issues related to structural works.
- Prepare and maintain structural design documents, drawings, calculations, inspection reports, and other relevant records.
- Ensure compliance with BNBC and relevant structural design codes and standards.
- Coordinate with management and project teams to ensure timely completion of design and construction activities.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management.
