Supervise and manage day-to-day operations of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
Monitor influent and effluent water quality parameters (BOD, COD, TSS, pH, Chromium, Sulphide, etc.) and maintain records.
Ensure proper dosing of chemicals and optimize treatment processes for cost efficiency.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and biological issues in the treatment process; liaise with maintenance teams for repairs.
Prepare and maintain operational logs, MIS reports, and monthly effluent quality reports for management and regulatory submission.
Coordinate with the Department of Environment (DoE) and other regulatory bodies for compliance, inspections, and reporting.
Train and supervise ETP operators and support staff.
Manage sludge handling, disposal, and CETP coordination where applicable.
