Strong knowledge of SolidWorks 3D Modeling and Assembly.
Experience with Sheet Metal, Weldments, Surface Modeling, and Drawing is preferred.
Good understanding of mechanical engineering, GD&T, manufacturing processes, and material selection.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities & Context

Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
Develop mechanical components, machines, equipment, and production parts based on design requirements.
Prepare accurate engineering drawings with dimensions, tolerances, materials, and BOMs.
Convert concepts, sketches, and existing drawings into detailed SolidWorks models.
Perform design modifications, revisions, and optimization according to production requirements.
Generate Bill of Materials (BOM), exploded views, and assembly drawings.
Ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing, fabrication, machining, and assembly.
Coordinate with production, engineering, procurement, and other departments to resolve design issues.
Review existing designs and recommend improvements for cost, performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Maintain proper CAD files, drawing revisions, and engineering documentation.
Check drawings and 3D models for accuracy before releasing them for production.
Follow company standards, engineering practices, and applicable safety requirements.
Support prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting when required.
