Software Sales Engineer - Acronis & Enterprise Solutions

NGEN IT LIMITED is looking for a CSE/IT background professional to develop its software, cloud, subscription and cybersecurity business, with primary focus on Acronis Cyber Protection, Backup & Disaster Recovery solutions and other enterprise software partnerships.

The role combines software sales, customer acquisition, reseller/channel development, solution presentation, renewals, licensing support and recurring-business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Acronis, Backup & Recovery, enterprise software, cloud and subscription business.
• Identify and develop corporate customers, resellers and channel partners.
• Generate new software sales, subscription, renewal and cross-selling opportunities.
• Develop and support the Acronis reseller/channel network.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable software, licensing or subscription solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, product comparisons and solution presentations.
• Coordinate pricing, licensing, deal registration and technical clarification with principals/distributors.
• Maintain renewal schedules and proactively follow customers before license expiry.
• Support software tenders, RFQs and technical/commercial submissions.
• Arrange customer meetings, demos and presentations.
• Coordinate activation, implementation and technical support with relevant teams.
• Maintain all leads, quotations, opportunities and follow-ups in CRM.
• Identify new software products, partnerships and recurring-revenue opportunities.
• Follow opportunities from initial contact through negotiation and sales closure.

Preferred Software / Solution Knowledge

Knowledge of Acronis, Backup & Recovery, Disaster Recovery, Remote Desktop/Remote Access, IBM SPSS, EViews, Stata, Symantec/Endpoint Security, Microsoft and other enterprise software licensing/subscription solutions will be preferred.

Prior expertise in every product is not mandatory; strong IT fundamentals and fast product-learning ability are essential.
