Software Engineer, Infrastructure - Self Managed Experience (SMX) at Camunda | chakrie

Requirements

Ability and/or willingness to use our product, with genuine curiosity about the customer problem behind a ticket — comfortable asking "should we build this" as well as "how do we build this."
Strong expertise in building, operating, and maintaining Helm Charts; deploying applications on Kubernetes; implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions; and managing infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
Ability to create clear technical documentation and communicate effectively across teams.
A pragmatic and autonomous approach to programming and problem-solving.
You thrive as a manager of one — you build it, you own it — and take pride in delivering maintainable, operable software.

Nice-to-haves:

Experience running and operating on-prem/self-hosted software on Docker.
Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar observability tools.
Working knowledge of the Go programming language.
Exposure to cloud infrastructure/IaC (Terraform, Crossplane) — useful as SMX moves toward shared review capability across installation artifacts and reference architectures.
