SEO Project Coordinator

• Plan, schedule, and track SEO and content projects across multiple client accounts from kickoff to delivery
• Build and maintain project timelines, task lists, and resourcing plans using tools such as Asana, Trello, or ClickUp
• Act as the primary communication point between clients and internal teams, translating project status into clear updates
• Coordinate daily work between writers, SEO specialists, designers, and developers to keep every deliverable on schedule
• Conduct keyword research and support on page, off page, and technical SEO execution across projects
• Optimize content and site structure for visibility across AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and other generative and answer engines
• Support schema markup and structured content initiatives to improve visibility in AI generated answers and featured snippets
• Monitor rankings, traffic, and site health through GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and GA4, alongside emerging AI search visibility tools
• Run periodic SEO audits, flag technical issues, and follow through with developers until resolved
• Track pending tasks and client requests, following up proactively so nothing slips through
• Take full ownership of assigned projects from planning through delivery
• Proactively flag delays or risks early with data and a revised plan, no blame shifting
• Be measured on project delivery timelines, client satisfaction, and SEO performance outcomes
• Communicate clearly and consistently with clients, team members, and leadership

Required Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of project coordination fundamentals, including scheduling, resourcing, and status reporting
• Working knowledge of on page and technical SEO fundamentals
• Comfort with keyword research, content briefing, and basic competitive analysis
• Proficiency with tools such as Asana, Trello, or ClickUp, alongside Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs or Semrush, and PageSpeed Insights
• Ability to read SEO reports and translate findings into clear next steps for clients and teams

AI & Modern Search, Non Negotiable:

• Must stay actively updated on AI driven search developments
• Familiar with how AI Overviews, generative engines, and LLMs are changing search behavior
• Understands GEO fundamentals well enough to coordinate work across content and SEO teams
• Regularly follows industry sources such as Search Engine Journal, Search Engine Land, and Google Search Central Blog
• Brings relevant AI search findings back to the team and flags where project plans should adjust
