The Media Cell of MH Global Group is responsible for creating and managing engaging visual and digital content covering corporate activities, events, campaigns, interviews, social initiatives, and promotional communications across the Group.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Video Editor for the DMH Foundation & Media Cell of MH Global Group, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The Video Editor will be responsible for transforming raw footage into professional, engaging, and impactful video content for social media, corporate communications, events, campaigns, interviews, documentaries, and promotional activities.

The role requires creativity, strong storytelling ability, technical editing skills, and the ability to work closely with the Media Cell, management, and other teams to deliver high-quality content within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into professional and engaging final content.
• Produce reels, shorts, promotional videos, interviews, event highlights, documentaries, and corporate videos.
• Create video content highlighting the activities and social initiatives of DMH Foundation.
• Produce content for MH Global Group's Media Cell and its digital platforms.
• Add transitions, subtitles, graphics, music, sound effects, voiceovers, and other visual elements as required.
• Perform basic color correction, color grading, audio enhancement, and synchronization.
• Create content optimized for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
• Support video shoots, interviews, corporate events, and Foundation activities when required.
• Organize and manage raw footage and other media assets.
• Work closely with relevant teams to understand content requirements and develop creative concepts.
• Manage multiple editing projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Stay updated with current video editing, storytelling, and social media content trends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or other professional video editing software.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator will be an advantage.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating professional video editing and storytelling skills.
• Good understanding of video composition, transitions, pacing, typography, audio, and visual storytelling.
• Knowledge of color correction, color grading, and audio editing.
• Ability to create both short-form and long-form video content.
• Understanding of different social media video formats, dimensions, and content requirements.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Media & Communication, Multimedia, Film & Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.

Additional Qualifications – Beneficial

• Experience in motion graphics and animation.
• Knowledge of professional camera operation, lighting, and audio recording.
• Experience in videography and photography.
• Experience producing documentaries, interviews, podcasts, event coverage, and social-impact stories.
• Experience with DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools.
• Understanding of branding and digital marketing.
• Experience working with a media house, creative agency, NGO/foundation, or corporate media team.
• Ability to independently develop creative concepts and turn raw footage into compelling stories.
