Senior Sales Consultant Smart Grids (all genders)

As part of our Sales and Business Development team, you will directly influence the growth of envelio. Your task is to develop new projects for our product, the Intelligent Grid Platform (IGP), and to win grid operators as satisfied and long-term users. Within the team we attach great importance to a trustful cooperation as well as self-initiative and a high degree of responsibility.

As Senior Sales Consultant Smart Grids (all genders), you will be responsible for building, nurturing and expanding relationships with our enterprise customers in the DACH region.

How You Make an Impact

• You develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with our key clients in the DACH region
• You develop strategic account plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and business objectives
• You develop and implement strategies to attract and acquire new high-value customers and to expand existing accounts by cross-selling or upselling new features, projects or applications
• You are responsible for the entire sales cycle from identifying opportunities and delivering presentations to preparing quotes and negotiating contracts
• You identify new customer requirements and support the strategic development of our product and solution portfolio
• You own the strategic direction of tenders, ensuring customer alignment and work together with the Bid Manager and Sales Engineer in developing compelling responses
• You act as a technology sparring partner at your customers: you uncover their pain points, match them to our IGP portfolio and drive new use cases
• You work closely with internal teams, including marketing, customer success, and product development, to ensure a seamless client experience

Your Profile

• You have completed a university degree in the field of industrial engineering, business administration with a specialization in technology management or a comparable course of study
• You have a proven track record as a Key Account Manager, Sales Manager, or in a similar role in the energy space
• You think strategically and are skilled at navigating complex customer organizations, identifying opportunities, aligning stakeholders and shaping successful outcomes
• You are a strong communicator, have a confident manner and bring a solution-oriented "hands-on" thinking with you
• You see yourself as a team player and support your colleagues at all times in order to achieve the common goal
• You are fluent in German and English
• You bring a high degree of initiative and enjoy working independently
