Senior Product Manager II, Consumer (all genders)

HelloFresh serves millions of customers weekly across 18 business units and 8 brands worldwide. As Senior PM II on the Personalization Experience team, you own what makes that vision real and felt. You're not building the ranking algorithm, you're building the experiences that make customers trust it, the data collection that makes it smart, and the moments where someone thinks: this app actually knows me.

This is a high-autonomy role at the intersection of consumer UX, engineering, and ML systems. The problems are genuinely hard, the scale is real, and the decisions are yours to make.

• Food Profile Quality & Signal Collection: The food profile is the raw material that powers everything downstream. Your job is to move customers from "fields filled in" to truly Personalization-Ready: high-signal, validated, actionable. You'll own and iterate on the collection experiences that give our models the data they need to perform.
• The "Sous Chef" Feel & Transparency: You build the moments where personalization becomes tangible, the places where we tell customers why certain meals were chosen for them. This isn't just UX work, it's trust infrastructure for the entire personalization stack.
• Cross-Org Data Supplier: You're the clean, reliable interface between raw signal and downstream experience, owning the explanation payloads and API contracts that make it all work at scale. You operate across organizational boundaries and align on shared metrics without needing to own the surfaces.
• AI-Native Discovery You use GenAI tools actively to compress discovery-to-decision cycles, synthesizing global customer signals, stress-testing hypotheses, and arriving at decision-ready specs faster than traditional PM workflows allow. You don't treat AI as a novelty; it's a genuine speed and quality multiplier in your daily practice.
• Long-Horizon Strategy You manage your domain with real autonomy. You run a flywheel: better profile data → better models → more visible personalization → more signal back to personalization. You own the strategy and sequencing, not just the backlog, thinking 12–18 months out and making the calls that shape the direction of the team.

What you’ll bring

• Deep personalization or data-collection PM experience. 5+ years of PM experience, with meaningful time on user-facing personalization or data collection products, ideally where the UX is the data pipeline, and where you've shipped for both end customers and downstream data consumers.
• Strong product taste and customer-facing craft. You have a genuine feel for what makes a consumer experience compelling, trustworthy, and sticky, not just functional. You've built products at scale where millions of people interact with what you ship, and you hold a high bar for the details: the copy, the interaction pattern, the moment of delight. You know the difference between a feature that works and one that earns trust.
• Data-native. You query your own data (SQL/Python), define your own input/output KPIs, and hold your own in deep-dive technical discussions without needing a data analyst to translate.
• Cross-org credibility. You've shipped products across organizational boundaries, aligning on shared metrics, maintaining clean contracts with engineering partners, and navigating competing priorities without direct authority.
• Experimentation with healthy skepticism. You design experiments to validate hypotheses and know how to interpret results without over-indexing on noise. You've made hard calls to kill features based on data.
• Exceptional communicator. You can make a complex algorithmic concept legible to a non-technical VP and you can write a spec that engineers can actually ship from.
• The AI edge. You've already incorporated AI-assisted workflows into your daily practice to increase speed, depth of insight, and output quality.
