Key Responsibilities

• Provide prompt underwriting support to branch offices.
• Maintain adequate knowledge across all classes of underwriting.
• Check all underwriting-related documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor and follow up on branch business volume and un-deposited premium positions.
• Prepare cancellations and refunds.
• Prepare quotations and premium bills for all classes of business.
• Analyze pre-underwriting inspection reports, cross-check them with the respective policies, and take necessary action.
• Handle required arrangements for the Annual and Half-Yearly Branch conferences.
• Prepare individual performance reports.
• Prepare income and expenditure statements.
• Perform daily tasks in the Branch Control software.
• Visit branches as needed.
• Resolve operational issues and coordinate with other departments.
• Liaise with Finance & Accounts, Re-insurance, and Internal Audit & Compliance Departments, and reconcile management information system statements.
• Carry out any other related duties assigned by management from time to time.
