Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting & Expense Operations

• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or a related function, including prior leadership experience in a more mature or established organization.
• Demonstrated leadership of expense operations and procurement, with strong practical understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, procurement processes, and financial controls.
• Proven people leadership experience, with a track record of building accountable, high-performing teams and establishing clear ownership, priorities, and ways of working.
• Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with internal business stakeholders, sponsors, and external vendors. Proven track record of fostering collaborative partnerships, influencing across functions, and delivering a high level of service to support operational and strategic objectives.
• Experience building and scaling processes in a growing organization, with a strong appetite for creating structure while remaining adaptable as business needs evolve.
• Continuous improvement mindset, with demonstrated success identifying efficiencies, streamlining workflows, leveraging technology or automation, and improving the effectiveness of financial operations.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to translate financial information into practical insights and partner effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline required; CPA designation and/or equivalent combination of education and experience considered an asset. Fluent English communication skills required.
