(Senior) Financial Accountant Real Estate (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Independently managing the day-to-day financial accounting for our property companies and holding companies
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and Luxembourg GAAP
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns on time
• Acting as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Preparing the annual tax documentation for the tax advisers
• Supporting the optimisation of financial processes and systems
• Contributing to diverse and exciting projects in the finance department, where you can bring your ideas and specialist knowledge to bear

Your profile

• A degree in a business-related subject specialising in accounting, or a commercial apprenticeship with more than three years’ professional experience; further training, e.g. as a chartered accountant, would be an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of standard accounting software, ideally DATEV or Business Central
• A passion for working in a dynamic environment and the ability to maintain an overview even when dealing with a wide range of tasks
• A strong aptitude for numbers and the ability to quickly grasp interrelationships
• A conscientious, structured and results-oriented approach to work
• The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
• Fluency in spoken and written German at C2 level and English at B2 level
