Job Context

AMZ Hospital Ltd is envisions a network of quality, patient-centered one-stop Out Patient Department and In-Patient Departments including 24/7 Emergency as well as critical care units and other specialized centers. AMZ hospital comprises sophisticated Operation Theaters, Postoperative, NVD, ICU, CCU, Cath Lab, NICU, HDU, Dialysis, diagnostic Lab, procedures and model pharmacy, blood transfusion facilities with required infrastructure and modern equipment.

Job Location :   Dhaka (North Badda) 

Job Responsibilities:

 01. Patient Care Attendant (PCA) Management:

i)    Staffing and Scheduling: Planning and ensuring (regular and on call) optimum numbers of

ii)   PCA well ahead of time to meet the demands of patient care at different units. Prepare roster for the PCA in coordination with supervisors.

iii)   Performance Management: Evaluating the performance of PCA/attendants, providing feedback, and implementing performance improvement plans when necessary.

iv)  Training and Development: Providing necessary formal trainings (Theoretical & practical) & on job/hands on training to perform their duties effectively.

v)   Communication and Coordination: Facilitating communication between PCAs, nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

vi)  Equipment Management: Inventory management of the equipment allocated to PCAs, to support their work.

vii) Patient Satisfaction: Monitoring of patient satisfaction with the care provided by attendants and addressing any concerns or complaints. 

 02. Customer Service:

i)     Patient Counseling: Answer questions, address complaints, and resolve issues that patients and their families may have about their care or hospital experience

ii)    Patient Food Management:  Food must be ensured for every patient admitted to the hospital. Must be ensured timely requisition by the nurse and PCA and ensure supply of food by the canteen staff. Ensure proper documentation.

iii)   Service Assurance: Monitor and ensure day to day functions related to the OPD & IPD patients and support accordingly

iv)  Coordination & Communication: Maintain and establish good communication with consultants, patients and other staffs such as duty doctors; nurses; PCA and general staffs

v)   Patients Feedback: During regular round at different floors both IPD and OPD patient’s feedback and complaints need to be received with positive manners and need to be resolved or addressed on time and amicably following AMZ hospital policy and procedures. 

vi)  Monitor and supervise record keeping system: Assist in maintaining all receipts& payments in appropriate log.

vii) Promoting Patient Satisfaction: By addressing concerns, providing support, and ensuring a positive patient experience, play a vital role in improving patient satisfaction.

 03. Linen and other logistics Management:

i)     Assist in managing inventory for the Linen and other logistics for the hospital operation.

ii)    Identify nonfunctional assets/ replacements/ new demand both OPD and IPD and communicate with relevant departments as needed.

iii)   Ensure timely supply of consumables/ pharmaceuticals at emergency dept., critical care units, OT and other IPD sections. 

 04. Perform any other assignments given by the hospital authority with full integrity and honesty.
