Senior Executive - Commercial

Context: We are a Japanese multinational company engaged in the business of manufacturing, processing and exporting of hairpieces such as toupees, wigs and wiglets located at Bangladesh Special economic zone, Araihazar, Narayanganj with head office located at Tokyo, Japan. We are looking for candidates who are interested to join in the mentioned position and want to be a part of the company from it’s very beginning of operation in Bangladesh.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and perform overall commercial and procurement operations in alignment with company policies.
• Assist the Manager in planning, organizing, and overseeing departmental activities.
• Source, follow up, develop and select vendor for procurement of required items as per company policy.
• Liaise and follow up with banks, BEZA, C&F agents, freight forwarders, and shipping lines for timely processing of documents and shipments.
• Follow up and process import permit, export permit and process necessary formalities for on time inhouse and on time shipment.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with import/export regulations.
• Should have adequate knowledge on HS code, Customs act and Bond formalities.
• Maintain strong relationships with all external and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues promptly.
• Support in the preparation of reports, analysis, and documentation for management review.
