Experience Requirements

Experience in the Freight Forwarding and Logistics industry is mandatory.
Candidates with experience in Freight Forwarding companies, Shipping Lines, NVOCC, Airlines, or Logistics companies will receive preference.
A proven track record of developing new customers and achieving business targets will be an added advantage.

Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer relationship management skills.

Good command of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Good command of written and spoken English and Bangla.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with different departments.

Job Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in Freight Forwarding and Logistics services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Conduct regular customer visits and business meetings to promote company services and generate new business.
Understand customer requirements and provide suitable and cost-effective logistics solutions.
Prepare and submit competitive freight quotations in coordination with the Pricing and Operations teams.
Follow up regularly on customer inquiries, quotations, and potential business opportunities.
Negotiate commercial terms with customers and convert opportunities into confirmed business.
Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, customers, and internal departments to support business development activities.
Work closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Accounts departments to ensure smooth shipment execution and customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales activities, quotations, and business opportunities.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new growth opportunities.
Achieve assigned monthly and annual business targets.
Maintain excellent customer relationships and ensure long-term customer retention.
