Senior Executive - Accounts, VAT & Tax

YAMAAN is looking for a skilled and responsible Senior Executive – Accounts, VAT & Tax who will be capable of independently managing day-to-day accounting operations, VAT & Tax compliance, and maintaining the company's accounting system through ERP.

The ideal candidate should be able to understand existing accounting processes, identify gaps, establish proper accounting procedures, and ensure that financial records remain accurate, organized, and audit-ready

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & ERP

• Manage daily accounting activities through ERP.
• Maintain accounts using Perpetual Accounting & Inventory Method.
• Maintain Chart of Accounts, journals, ledgers, vouchers and accounting records.
• Record and verify sales, purchases, inventory, expenses, payments, receipts and bank transactions.
• Maintain Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash & Bank.
• Perform bank, cash, sales, purchase and supplier/customer reconciliation.
• Manage monthly closing and ensure accurate accounting records.
• Prepare/review Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and management reports.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment of raw materials, finished goods, inventory and production-related transactions.
• Identify and correct accounting errors and ERP discrepancies.
• Maintain opening balances and properly integrate previous accounting records into ERP.
• Continuously improve and standardize the accounting process through ERP.

VAT & Tax

• Manage day-to-day VAT & Tax activities and documentation.
• Maintain VAT/Tax records, registers and supporting documents.
• Assist with VAT returns, Tax returns and withholding tax compliance.
• Ensure proper VAT & Tax deduction, recording and documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants and relevant authorities when required.
