Senior Commis Chef

Food Preparation and Cooking:

• Do mise en place (prep work like chopping, peeling, and measuring).
• Cook and plate food using set recipes and quality rules.
• Help out in hot, cold, or pastry sections when needed.

Kitchen Management and Support:

• Guide and train Commis 2 and Commis 3 staff.
• Check stock levels, accept deliveries, and store items properly.
• Throw away bad or old food and track use-by dates.

Cleanliness and Safety:

• Keep the work area clean and wash tools after use.
• Check fridge and freezer temperatures.
• Report broken tools or safety risks to a senior chef.
