Invicta Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer to join our team in Dhaka and work on advanced POS terminal and mobile payment solutions for an international client.

This is a great opportunity for an Android developer who has hands-on experience in the payment industry and wants to take real technical ownership of products involving EMV, QR, Contactless, e-Wallet, Payment Gateway, TMS, and RKI technologies.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Work Location: Dhaka-based office
• Working Days: Monday – Friday
• Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of Android POS terminal and mobile applications.
• Design and implement scalable Android applications and mobile architectures.
• Build and integrate payment features involving:
• EMV
• Contactless
• QR Payments
• e-Wallet
• Payment Gateway
• TMS (Terminal Management System)
• RKI (Remote Key Injection)
• Review application architecture, coding standards, and development practices.
• Mentor junior Android developers and provide technical guidance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Ensure applications meet required payment certification, security, compliance, and quality standards.
• Work closely with Business, QA, and Project Management teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Support UAT, certification, deployment, and production rollout activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and system-related documentation.
• Take ownership of technical incidents and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Job Requirements

• 4–5 years of total software development experience, including at least 3+ years of Android application development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Java and a solid understanding of Android SDK, application lifecycle, and mobile architecture.
• Experience working with REST APIs, system integration, and SQL databases.
• Previous experience in the payment industry is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of:
• EMV
• QR Payment
• Contactless Payment
• e-Wallet
• Payment Gateway
• TMS
• RKI
• Familiarity with ISO 8583 messaging or terminal applications such as PAX, NEXGO, Verifone, or Ingenico will be a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of C/C++, Linux/embedded systems, cryptography, or key management is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Confident spoken and written English, as the role involves working directly with international stakeholders.
