Education

Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile Engineering from a recognized university.
Overall Industry Experience: 10 to 15 years of relevant working experience in Garments and Textile manufacturing companies.

Additional Requirements

At least 10 years of essential hands-on experience in Denim Bottoms and Woven Garments quality management.
Buyer Experience Portfolio: Mandatory hands-on experience working directly with international buyers such as Kontoor, OTTO, LPP, ZARA, Bonprix, Vertbaudet, H&M, and Inditex.
Deep understanding of Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) standards, quality inspection tools, Statistical Process Control, fabric inspection, and buyer compliance protocols.
ISO 14000 standards, Lean Six Sigma tools, QMS, IE integration, and advanced MIS reporting.
Professional Certifications: ISO certification or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is considered a strong plus.
Excellent verbal/written communication, team leadership, crisis management, and proven ability to handle high-pressure multi-tasking environments.

Responsibilities & Context

Jeans and Polo Limited is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and technically sound Quality Manager (Denim Expert – Woven) to lead the quality assurance and compliance department at our manufacturing plant in Tongi, Gazipur.

The ideal candidate must possess deep technical knowledge of woven garments manufacturing, specialized denim processing/bottoms, and international buyer audit protocols. The Quality Manager will lead quality teams to exceed expectations for major global clients including Kontoor, OTTO, LPP, ZARA, Vertbaudet, Bonprix, H&M, and Inditex.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Standards & Buyer Alignment: Ensure total quality control at optimum operational levels, enforcing strict adherence to buyer specifications and global brand standards (e.g., Kontoor, OTTO, LPP, ZARA, Bonprix, H&M, Inditex, Walmart).
Pre-Production & Line Alignment: Work closely with the Pre-Production (PP) team to evaluate tech packs, sample approvals, and risk analysis to ensure all potential quality defects are addressed before line loading.
Comprehensive Inspection Oversight: Direct and monitor raw material/fabric inspections, inline inspections, end-line checks, and final audits across all production lines.
Root-Cause & Corrective Action (CAPA): Identify process deviations, defects, and non-conformances in real-time; collaborate with cross-functional production teams to implement robust corrective and preventive action plans.
QMS, IE & Modern Machinery Integration: Utilize up-to-date Quality Management Systems (QMS), Industrial Engineering (IE) principles, and Lean methodologies while staying abreast of modern denim machinery and automated technology.
MIS Reporting & Performance Metrics: Prepare, analyze, and present structured Management Information System (MIS) quality reports to senior leadership and buyers.
Cross-Functional Problem Solving: Partner with Merchandising, Washing, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, and Commercial teams to resolve quality disputes, buyer claims, or operational bottlenecks.
Sustainability & Compliance Audits: Oversee and manage sustainability, environmental, and social compliance audits, ensuring complete factory alignment with international buyer audit guidelines.
