Purchase Officer

Job Context:

Source Of Agro is an agriculture-focused company providing agricultural machinery, equipment, agricultural products, and related solutions. We are looking for a responsible, experienced, and result-oriented Purchase Officer to manage purchasing activities, supplier relationships, quotation & price negotiation, procurement records, and purchase, delivery & material coordination.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders and related documents.

• Identify and communicate with suppliers/vendors for required products, materials, spare parts and other items.

• Collect quotations from suppliers and compare price, quality, delivery time and payment terms.

• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and favorable terms.

• Ensure timely procurement of required materials according to company requirements.

• Follow up on pending purchase orders and supplier deliveries.

• Maintain proper purchase records, supplier information and related documents.

• Coordinate with Accounts, Store, Production, Service and other relevant departments regarding purchase requirements.

• Verify received materials against purchase orders, invoices and delivery documents.

• Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.

• Monitor market prices and identify reliable suppliers and alternative sources.

• Report any major issue, delay, shortage or quality problem to Management without delay.

• Perform other purchase-related duties assigned by Management.
