Production Technologist

Tex International Ltd. is seeking a highly technical, experienced, and detail-oriented Production Technologist based in Dhaka. The ideal candidate should have at least 15 years of solid experience in garment manufacturing and buying house environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving technical quality standards, enforcing SOPs, optimizing fit and pattern engineering, assessing high-risk production units, and coaching internal product operations and QA teams to achieve superior sample hit rates and zero-defect volume production.

Supply Base Audit, Risk & Returns Management

• Systematically monitor Returns Reports to identify high-returning styles and products and collaborate with the supply base to resolve root causes.
• Identify high-risk production units and products requiring pre-shipment and third-party inspections.
• Evaluate production risks in a high-volume retail environment and provide actionable commercial recommendations.
• Utilize quality portals, pre-shipment reports, return analytics, and CLAIM reports to resolve supply chain quality bottlenecks in coordination with Quality Business Partners.

Cross-Functional Alignment & Team Coaching

• Liaise with Merchandising (MR) and QA teams to interpret and resolve customer quality feedback.
• Conduct regular discussions with direct reports to identify skill gaps and create formal development plans.
• Assign challenging growth initiatives while maintaining team motivation and performance.
• Provide technical coaching and mentorship to internal teams.
