Registration with the Bangladesh Veterinary Council (BVC) is preferred/required for practicing as a veterinarian in Bangladesh.

Strong knowledge of poultry diseases, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
Practical knowledge of vaccination and medication protocols.
Good understanding of poultry biosecurity and farm hygiene.
Ability to conduct flock health monitoring and post-mortem examinations.
Knowledge of poultry production and farm management practices.
Ability to analyze mortality, disease, and production data.
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to maintain veterinary records and prepare reports.
Willingness to work in poultry farms and production environments, including field-based assignments.

Monitor the overall health and welfare of poultry birds.
Diagnose and treat poultry diseases and health problems.
Conduct regular flock health checks and clinical examinations.
Develop and implement vaccination and medication programs.
Monitor vaccination effectiveness and maintain proper records.
Advise farm teams on biosecurity and disease prevention measures.
Conduct post-mortem examinations and identify causes of mortality.
Monitor feed, water quality, and flock performance from a veterinary perspective.
Coordinate with farm, hatchery, feed, and production teams on health-related issues.
Maintain veterinary records and prepare regular reports on flock health and disease status.
